December Daily - day 4 & 5

 Day 4 - Smells

There are lots of lovely smells that are in the air at Christmas time. Among my favourites are spices - like cinnamon and vanilla or the scent of my orange-chocolate candle which I burn on those long winter evenings. Those smells always make me feel happy and relaxed.

Day 5 - Peace

Today my Bible verse mentioned the word peace, and I also found those great thoughts on this topis in the daily devotion at  http://www.d365.org/followingthestar/ :

"Perhaps peace in our world begins with peace in our own lives. We each have places of unrest, and perhaps if we work for peace here, inside our lives, we might be able to know more of God’s peace in the world."

"We can get wrapped up in not wanting to miss out on something, or we are so consumed by entertainment that we forget to live. Living from a place of peace, though, can free us to live openly. This openness enables us to live life abundantly and share God’s kingdom."
   /Andrew Keller/

So today's page is about peace ...
